Pomona City Council Seeks Pomona Residents Interested in Serving on a City Commission

The City of Pomona is seeking individuals with a strong interest in the community to be considered for the following vacancies:

  • Two (2) openings on the Board of Library Trustees.  The Board of Library Trustees oversees the management and operations of the Pomona Public Library. The Library Board may solicit funds for the sole benefit of the Library, subject to the City Council’s approval.The Board meets on the third Wednesday of every month at 5:00 p.m. in the Library Public Conference Room
  • One (1) opening (beginning in March 2018) on the Board of Parking Place Commissioners (VPD).  Commissioners represent the downtown business community in its effort to maintain and improve the parking quality for the downtown areaThe Board meets on the second Thursday of every month at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.

City invites applications for Phillips Ranch property owners interested in serving on the Phillips Ranch Assessment District Ad Hoc Committee.  The selected Committee will review service levels and assessment amounts within the District and make recommendations which will be considered by City Council.
